SUBKULT is a non-profit association based in Lucerne, Switzerland that supports young professionals in building and developing their leadership skills and competences who are on the beginning of their career.

Our IKIGAI - our PURPOSE:

Ikigai (ee-key-guy) is a Japanese concept that combines the terms iki, meaning “alive” or “life,” and gai, meaning “benefit” or “worth.” When combined, these terms mean that which gives your life worth, meaning, or purpose. Therefore, our purpose and meaning of work is:

Even when it's cloudy and grey outside, SUBKULT is here to help you climb up above and enjoy the benefits of the sun."

SUBKULT envisions a future where all young people have the proper support to build a meaningful career and fulfill their potential by providing them access to different learning opportunities and by giving valuable contribution to their personal and professional development.

SUBKULT serves as a bridge that connects young people with successful mentors from different industries who will unselfishly provide valuable advice and guidance from their professional experience in order to help young people achieve their goals.

By developing leadership skills and by gaining valuable know-how young people are empowered to take social, economic and political action in the society as responsible active citizens who are capable to create a better and more sustainable future.

The association's projects are based on the methods of non-formal education. The principles of active citizenship, respect for diversity and inclusion are fundamental in our work.
